2025 Opening hours
Forest Glade Gardens are open every day, from 10:00am with last entry at 4:30pm. The gardens close at 5:00pm.

Getting There
Mount Macedon is about 65km north west of Melbourne. Melbourne airport is 50km away. V/Line trains stop at Macedon and Gisborne.

Parking
There is no on-site parking at Forest Glade Gardens, however there is street parking along Mt Macedon Road. Please ensure to check the parking signs for duration and any restrictions.

Group or Bus tours
Must be booked in advance by phone or email.

Photography
Informal picture taking and home videos are permitted. Any other photography must be arranged and booked ahead, and certain fees may apply. Drones are not permitted.                                    

Wedding or Engagement Photography
Must be arranged and booked in-advance.

Children must be supervised at all times. For their own safety, please do not allow children to climb on trees or statues, play in water features, pick flowers or walk on garden beds.

Pets
Dogs on a leash are welcome but please clean-up any mess and do not let your dog off the leash.

Food
Small groups are welcome to bring a picnic but large gatherings are no longer permitted. No barbecues or naked flames.

Toilets
Toilets are available.

Fire Ban days
Forest Glade Gardens are closed on days of Total Fire Ban.
